Burkhard Peter, 1961 born in Wuppertal / Germany
I studied photo and film design at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. First exhibition participations and projects during my studies.
1991 Move to Berlin. Started working as a freelance photographer. Publications in journals and magazines. Themes are the changes in Berlin after the fall of the Wall. Travels to Eastern Europe, which has now become closer. Bosnia, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Belarus.
Also active in the field of documentation and public relations for institutions and clients.
In addition to commissions, I always work on independent projects and exhibitions.
Current projects: Landscape and urban landscape. Places and memories.
